What you’ll do
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned internal client group, delivering an outstanding HR business service and enabling a matrixed organisation and change initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, including Capability, Coverage or Function Partners, Segment Heads, Head of Performance Operations, Performance Leaders and other senior clients as needed.
* Develop understanding of the internal client group, their strategic people priorities and plans to deliver the best service, aligned with the team’s objectives.
* Collaborate with Centres of Excellence and Performance Leaders to deliver HR Calendar activities (GPS, performance management, salary and bonus, promotions and talent reviews) in accordance with KPMG guidelines and the client group’s people plan.
* Operate as part of a team to deliver the agreed people plan with guidance from the Lead HRBP; report actions to HoPO and Super Service Line Leader.
* Lead internal client-specific projects to support KPMG’s people strategy and the capability and Super Service Line people plan.
* Act as an agent of change for transformation initiatives, embedding changes and proactively suggesting solutions.
Delivery of People Strategy / Super Service Line People Plan
* With the relevant Lead HRBP, provide input to form or inform the strategic people plan based on knowledge, needs and analysis of the internal client group.
* Collaborate with the HRBP Team to roll out the plan and monitor progress.
* Lead analysis of management information to identify themes and trends, and suggest HR interventions accordingly.
Delivery of HR Calendar activities
* Work with People Function CoEs and PeopleCentre to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Lead or run specific calendar projects, representing your internal client group within the People Function.
* Coordinate with Super Service Line Leader, Service Line Leads, HoPO and recruitment/resourcing teams to anticipate future requirements at all levels, including Graduate/Student recruitment.
* Advise on the structure of packages offered to new hires.
HR Advice
* Support resolution of isolated highly complex and/or high-risk people issues with the ER Function.
* Provide coaching to others (e.g., business leaders) in effective people management.
* Lead delivery of HR projects and change initiatives to support the client’s people strategy and the function’s plan.
* Liaise with other People Function teams to provide a seamless service on strategic projects and calendar processes.
What you’ll need to do it
* Strong HR knowledge (CIPD qualification or equivalent).
* Project-oriented with ability to create and work to detailed project plans.
* Experience of working in a fast-moving, responsive HR team.
* Collaborative skills and ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organisation.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong delivery focus.
