Location: Trinity Leeds Shopping Centre, Albion Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, LS1 5AT. Contract: Permanent, Part Time. Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour. Weekly Contractual Hours: 30 (4 week rolling data). Shift Pattern: 8.30AM - 8PM (varies by day and event schedule).
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Guest Services Host to join our team. You will be a key member of the Guest Lounge team, helping to create memorable experiences and deliver a high standard of customer service to every guest, every day. This role offers a varied working day where no two shifts are the same — from greeting guests and solving queries to supporting centre events and maintaining the lounge environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests visiting the centre; manage the Guest Lounge and reception area; handle enquiries with courtesy and care.
* Respond to email and telephone queries promptly and professionally; process Trinity Leeds Gift Card sales; maintain accurate records.
* Log and handle lost property in accordance with centre procedures; ensure presentation and cleanliness of the Guest Services Lounge.
* Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service and adopt a “one team” mindset; support centre management with administrative duties as needed.
* Adhere to safety procedures; report any suspicious activity or incidents to the Control Room; assist during fire or emergency situations as trained.
* Participate in seasonal centre events and activations (e.g., craft clubs, sip sessions, artisan markets).
* Uphold the values of Trinity Leeds and Landsec at all times.
What we’re looking for
* Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in retail or hospitality.
* Strong communication skills, the ability to build rapport quickly, and a problem-solving mindset.
* Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences; a proactive, positive attitude; professional personal presentation and courteous manner.
Desirable personal characteristics
* Approachable and empathetic; reliable and punctual; able to remain calm under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail; flexible with shift patterns to meet centre needs; team-oriented.
