Financial Accountant - Family Office

I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a newly established HNW family office within a leading, pan-European investment management platform.
This is a key early hire, offering the chance to play a pivotal role in setting up the family office infrastructure while supporting the financial affairs of a high-net-worth individual with a diverse investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management accounts
• Budgeting and forecasting across family entities, trusts, and investments
• Monitoring financial performance via dashboards and investment reporting
• Supporting long-term wealth planning through financial insights
• Managing cash flow and treasury activities
• Oversight of expenses, assets, and operational efficiencies
• Liaising with external advisors (tax, legal, and accounting)
• Supporting tax, legal, and regulatory compliance
• Maintaining accurate records of a multi-asset investment portfolio
• Assisting with internal controls, process improvements, and ad hoc analysis
About You:
• Recently qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
• Strong Excel skills (Power BI a plus)
• Confident working with senior stakeholders
• Proactive, self-sufficient, and highly organised
• Strong attention to detail
• Exposure to UK and/or international tax is beneficial but not essential
