About Our Client
Our client is a professional services firm who's modern office is situated in the centre of Glasgow.
Job Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
3. Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
4. Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
5. Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
6. Completing VAT returns
7. Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
8. Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
9. Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
10. Managing employee expense claims
11. Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
12. Full knowledge of Xero accounts system.
13. Comfortable working in a fast-pace, results-driven environment, where getting it right first time is a prerequisite.
14. Have Knowledge of Payroll preferably "BrightHR" /Sage/Xero.
15. Have good working and operating knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word and Outlook.
What's on Offer
This role will offer a competitive salary between £30,000-£35,000 plus great benefits.
