Job Description


UI Power T&D is looking for an experienced Planner to prepare and report on project programmes, assist the Senior Planner & Planning Manager, and maintain planning control structures; with a preference for candidates holding a relevant bachelor’s degree and experience in scheduling using Primavera P6. The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement from our Glasgow office with some site travel.

In this role, you will report to the senior planner and will work alongside an experienced delivery team. You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting project schedules while assisting the senior planner in creating detailed schedules and maintaining planning control structures. Requiring a bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, experience in scheduling, proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong project management skills. Ad hoc travel to site(s) will be required. The position offers flexibility, allowing the successful candidate to have a hybrid working arrangement based out of our Glasgow office.

Typical responsibilities

* Develop and maintain of resource loaded, logically linked detailed project programmes in Primavera P6
* Monitor and control planning activities throughout all project stages
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and third parties to maintain accurate programmes
* Prepare and distribute regular updates to project programmes and performance reports to support project delivery
* Experience of working under NEC contracts including conducting delay analysis, and identifying project risks and change events
* Participate in schedule risk analysis as needed

Expected:
