Field Service Technician – Audiology
Role Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality onsite and remote technical service to customers within an assigned territory, operating within an agreed service budget. The role involves the calibration, repair, installation, and support of audiological equipment while ensuring compliance with company quality systems. The position also supports long-term customer relationships and contributes to sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver onsite and remote technical service, including calibration, repair, and installation of audiological equipment.
Manage all assigned service activities, including job planning, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
Calibrate new equipment orders both in-house and at customer sites.
Support new equipment installations in collaboration with the Regional Account Manager.
Maintain ownership of service relationships within the assigned territory.
Provide timely and effective responses to customer technical queries.
Identify, address, and resolve customer issues to support long-term customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
Promote company solutions in a professional and compliant manner.
Maintain accurate customer records, service cases, and interaction logs within the CRM system.
Administer Service Requests (SRs) in accordance with company procedures and timelines.
Ensure all customer interactions and service activities comply with Quality System requirements.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of company products and related software.
Support internal teams, including customer support, as required.
Provide clear, concise reporting and information to management when requested.
Complete monthly expense reporting in line with company policy.
Perform other reasonable duties as required to support business operations.
Travel
Extensive travel within the assigned territory is required.
