What You'll Be Doing
Building and developing strong relationships with European road freight clients, maximising business opportunities and delivering outstanding customer service.
Managing supplier relationships to secure reliable, efficient, and cost-effective transport solutions across Europe.
Preparing competitive freight quotations for both import and export shipments.
Handling operational administration, including creating job files, processing bookings, and issuing confirmations to suppliers.
Coordinating all necessary transport and customs documentation, including post-Brexit customs clearance requirements.
Monitoring European road freight shipments from collection through to successful delivery, ensuring smooth operations at every stage.
Managing invoicing and completing shipment files accurately and efficiently.
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 3 years' experience within European road freight forwarding.
Strong understanding of post-Brexit European customs procedures and clearance processes.
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build long-term client and supplier relationships.
Proven ability to negotiate effectively and secure the best operational outcomes.
Strong numerical skills with experience preparing accurate freight quotations.
Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general freight/logistics systems.
