Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional service. Duties
* Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements
* Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner
* Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or concerns with professionalism
* Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting zones
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and process payments securely
* Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
* Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operations throughout service hours
Requirements
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
