Priory Hospital Preston is looking to recruit a HR & Resourcing Lead to join the team. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours per week.
Based in Bartle, near Preston, Priory Hospital Preston is a 50-bedded mental health hospital, offering an extensive range of services, delivered across four wards. We can support adult males and females with acute mental health needs and eating disorders, and specialise in the management and treatment of these conditions.
Priory’s acute services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
* Work closely with Senior Management team and Heads of Departments to help define and develop avenues and methods of attracting new candidates of the highest quality to the site.
* Working in conjunction with Central Onboarding team to ensure offered candidates are processed and onboarded in a timely and effective manner
* Support and drive completion of the Colleague Engagement surveys at site to increase response rates and employee engagement
* Ensure absence management policy and procedures are being adhered to at site for both ad hoc, short-term & long-term absence
* Management of onsite Resourcing & HR team

What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
The post-holder will have strong communication skills, relationship building skills and excellent attention to detail. Working towards CIPD would be ideal but not essential. Previous experience in coordinating HR activities within a corporate environment. Ideally within Healthcare sector but not essential.
