Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are looking for Machine Maintenance Engineers at our client's West Yorkshire site in Knottingley. Rate of Pay is £15.05 per hour. This will be working 39 hours over 7 days Monday to Friday 2pm till 10pm and weekends 12pm till 2pm however, there is an element of flexibility required for this role and as such these may change from time to time to suit factory needs. Previous knowledge of working within a glass manufacture plant and/or 24-hour process environment would be an advantage, however not essential. Reporting to the Team Leader you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machines within our client's Cold End Production Department, ensuring equipment achieves maximum efficiency and manufacturing performance. Working in a small team you will also be responsible for the cleaning, checking, repairing and refurbishing of spares to ensure availability and minimise downtime. Suitable candidates should be fully apprentice-trained and possess a good level of Maths and English, together with excellent problem-solving skills, and may be required to undertake an aptitude test to demonstrate this.
