Employer Engagement Adviser
The Professional Work Experience (PWE) Team is looking for an enthusiastic and innovative adviser to be the first point of contact for employers wanting to engage with the Student Professional Development (SPD) Team.

Brunel University London, Uxbridge Campus
Salary & Hours
Grade 6: £34,145 to £38,638 per annum (inclusive of London weighting) with potential to progress to £40,757 through sustained exceptional contribution. Full‑time, permanent contract.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with employers to provide a service to placements, internships, careers, employability, volunteers and the Entrepreneur Hub.
* Organise Brunel University London fairs and employer presentations.
* Contribute to the Employer and Community Liaison areas of the SPD.
* Build and maintain relationships with employers in a challenging job market.
* Develop and support administrative systems to enhance SPD services and technology.
* Cross‑sell SPD employability programmes to employers and generate new contacts via networking, cold‑calling and internet research.
* Occasional weekend work may be required.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should have experience engaging with employers in recruitment programmes, recommending improvements and sourcing talent. Advanced IT skills and experience developing administrative systems are required. A strategic mindset and the ability to contribute to broader SPD strategy are essential.
