City based IT Manager Hybrid role 2 days WFH. 3 days in the office Excellent role that will suit someone who wishes to build on existing skillset and experience My client is looking to recruit a strong IT specialist who will assume the management and leadership of a small and dedicated team of IT Professionals The role will include, but not be restricted to - maintaining the IT infrastructure and ensuring all systems and technologies remain up to date - ensuring cyber security protocols remain best of breed - full provision of all levels of technical support for local and remote users - installation of news systems, hardware, software etc - hardware/software fault diagnosis and resolution - management of a small team of IT professionals - provision of IT and Cyber training courses - managing an Apple estate - providing full IT strategy to Board Level - Assessing new systems, hardware, software - Making recommendations prior to upgrades of systems - Full budgetary control of all areas of IT - hardware/software inventories - Project based work when and where required To be considered for this role candidates will need to be able to demonstrate - very strong MS Office experience - ability to liaise with all levels of staff, through to Director level - Very strong ISO27001 experience, candidates MUST have completed ISO audits previously - Apple MAC experience - Preference will be given to candidates who have MS accreditations - Ideally from a finance or insurance or investment background - excellent Cyber security awareness - working with 3rd party vendors - strong contractual awareness and the ability to negotiate with suppliers - a very strong all round Microsoft background - the willingness to commute to the St Paul's area of London at least three days a week This is a truly excellent role and will be looking at an March 2026 start - please send your CV to me, Martin Warner, and I will get back to you as soon as possible
