Field Service Engineer - Process Cooling Solutions
As a Field Service Engineer within Process Chiller Solutions, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial cooling systems and the associated system components such as pumps, inverters, tanks, and controllers. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and servicing process chillers, ensuring uptime, and exceeding customer expectations.
The role:
On-Site Maintenance and Repairs:
* Visit customer sites to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on process equipment.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to chiller performance, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
* Conduct installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Accurately document all service activities using company-provided tools and software.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and customer interactions.
Customer Interaction:
* Represent Atlas Copco and Eurochiller Brands professionally and build strong relationships with customers.
* Respond promptly to customer inquiries and address their needs effectively.
Safety and Compliance:
* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on customer premises.
* Promote safe practices and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Continuous Learning and Skill Development:
* Stay updated on process chiller technology, including refrigeration systems, controls, and automation.
To succeed, you will need:
* Previous experience in mechanical or electrical service.
* Mechanical or electrical qualifications (experience-based qualifications are also considered).
* Valid driving license (UK or international if within 12 months).
* Proficiency in using computer systems and learning new software.
* Position of responsibility in an FGAS authorized organization.
* Refrigeration & Thermal Systems background.
* Chiller-focused essential understanding of operation of pumps and heat exchangers.
