Head of Events
Location: Surrey (with regular travel to London & venues across the region)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE
Driving licence and access to a car required
About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven, creative, and hands-on Head of Events to take the lead across a portfolio of luxury venues. This is a unique opportunity to shape the events strategy while also being at the heart of delivery, from intimate dinners and corporate gatherings to large-scale festivals and public experiences.
Working closely with the venues preferred catering partner and leading a talented events team, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, building client relationships, overseeing event delivery and ensuring every event exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the events function across multiple venues
* Drive commercial growth through corporate sales and creative event concepts
* Oversee delivery of high-profile events, from small-scale to large festivals
* Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and catering partners
* Balance strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership
About You
* Proven track record in events, ideally from an agency, production, or high-end catering environment
* Strong commercial mindset, with experience driving revenue and profitability
* Experienced team leader, confident managing multiple projects and venues
* Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Flexible to work one weekend per month and some evenings as required
