Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: $130,000 – $250,000
Senior Mechanical Engineer / Lead Mechanical Engineer required to join a rapidly growing robotics company developing next-generation autonomous systems for real-world environments based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities
* Own design and integration of multiple mechanical and electromechanical systems through all stages of product maturity
* Translate high–level requirements into practical design solutions alongside the founding team
* Prototype rapidly and validate concepts through hands–on testing and iteration
* Develop CAD models, detailed drawings, and physical prototypes
* Lead reviews of designs, procedures, and assemblies, providing engineering feedback and recommendations
* Perform mechanical analysis for strength, reliability, and manufacturability
* Create and execute test procedures, jigs, and validation fixtures
* Conduct root cause analysis for hardware failures in development or deployment
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an engineering discipline
* Previous experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Lead Mechanical Engineer
* 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis for complex systems
* Proven experience with full product lifecycle–from design and prototyping to production
* Proficiency in CAD and FEA tools (SolidWorks, Ansys, or equivalent)
* Prior experience in startups or high–growth engineering environments
* Willing to relocate or based in Austin, TX
