Job Responsibilities
* Wash and dress patients, toilet, make beds, provide individual patient care
* Serve meals and help feed elderly patients
* Aid in patient mobility
* Communicate with patients to provide comfort
* Monitor patients’ conditions (temperature, weight, etc.) and report to senior staff
* Prepare seating and dining area
* Record keeping, including writing daily care plans

Senior Carer Additional Requirements
* Blood pressure monitoring

* Drivers preferred due to nature of work
* No set entry requirements; good literacy and numeracy expected
Training and Career Progression
* Training includes basic nursing skills and progression towards Care Certificate
* Opportunity to study Level 2 and Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications
