Senior support workers required for part time and full-time employment opportunities based in a residential home in Torfaen, and surrounding areas. We are looking for qualified, experienced senior support workers who have a passion for care and supporting others. The role will involve caring for elderly residents with dementia, helping with medication administration, personal care, general caring of residents, and record keeping. We also offer a wide range of opportunities in varying locations, so the more experience you have and the further you can travel the better! Shifts are flexible to work around you, so clear communication about your availability is required to find the most suitable work for you. If you have a passion for the care sector, assisting others with various mental health and physical challenges to improve their quality of life and independence, then this is the role for you!
The role includes;
· Support with the staff and general running of the setting
· Management and safe administration of medication
· Providing personal care and emotional support
· Handling challenging situations calmly and effectively
· Care for individuals with disabilities
· Good communication

Applicants must have minimum level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care, with at least 1 years’ work experience as a senior with practical manual handling training. Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service, and be registered with Social Care Wales. Drivers preferred.
