Elevate Supply is seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher for schools in Bury! You will be responsible for delivering outstanding Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, sparking students' curiosity in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, while helping them reach their full potential.
Position Overview
* Job Title: Science Teacher
* Location: Bury
* Day Rate: £150 - £200 per day dependant on experience
* Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations and other relevant assessments
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students
* Use innovative teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and a passion for Science
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Science curriculum and share best practices
* Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
Qualifications And Skills
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in Science or a related subject
* Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
* Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A commitment to continuous professional development and student success
