Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our well-established Coronary Care Unit team on Courtlands Ward.
The ward is a busy, dynamic 17-bedded unit caring for patients with a wide range of cardiology conditions such as ischaemic heart disease, myocardial infarction, heart failure, valve disease, endocarditis, pacing, and arrhythmia management.

We welcome applications from individuals with a current UK NMC registration. Please note, if you hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship, we are not currently hiring internationally qualified nurses directly.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to:
1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to cardiology patients, aligned with Trust values and professional regulations.
2. Work collaboratively to promote the health and wellbeing of patients, their families, carers, and the wider community.
3. Adhere to Trust policies, objectives, protocols, and local guidelines.
4. Act as a role model, communicating effectively with patients, carers, and staff, reflecting Trust values.
5. Accept delegated responsibilities from the senior nurse in charge, working within your competence limits.
6. Continuously develop your practice through ongoing learning.
7. Support and supervise students and colleagues to develop their skills through teaching and role modelling.
