CNC Machinist (Miller)
Location: Tewkesbury, Salary: £32,000 - 38,000, Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Department: Operations
The Company
Our client is a leading precision engineering business supplying high-quality components to the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Miller) to join their operations team.

The Role
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming multi-axis CNC Milling and Mill Turn machines to produce precision components to exact specifications. You'll work as part of a collaborative production team, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Set, operate, and program CNC Milling and Mill Turn multi-axis machines (3, 4, and 5 Axis)
* Produce precision-engineered components to detailed specifications within tight tolerances
* Work to agreed production timescales and complete all associated paperwork
* Liaise with the Production Supervisor and team members to ensure workflow efficiency
* Ensure compliance with all company and customer quality and safety standards
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Proven experience setting, operating, and programming CNC Milling and multi-axis machinery
* Strong understanding of fixtures, tooling, feeds, and speeds for various raw materials
* Experience with FANUC, Okuma, ISO, or Mazatrol programming
* Knowledge of live tooling and LEAN manufacturing principles
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Confident using manual measuring equipment
Desirable:
* Experience with Victor, Hyundai, or Doosan machine tool lathes
* Knowledge of CMM inspection and measuring techniques
* Advanced CAD/CAM experience (SolidWorks, hyperMILL, Mastercam)
* Formal Engineering Qualification (City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent)
* Apprentice-trained background
