About The Role
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Worker to join our Mental Health Supported Living Service on a full‑time basis. In this role you will support adults living with mental health needs to maintain their independence, achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives. As part of our team you will build positive relationships with the people we support, encouraging choice, dignity and empowerment. No two days are the same, and you will play a key role in helping individuals develop confidence, life skills and social connections.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing person‑centred support tailored to individual needs.
* Supporting people with daily living skills, budgeting, appointments and community activities.
* Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing.
* Working alongside healthcare professionals, families and other agencies.
* Maintaining accurate records and support planning.
* Promoting a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Hours
Full‑time position available. Mon‑Thur: 9 am to 5 pm and Fri 9 am to 4 pm. The shift pattern is subject to change based on business needs and client demand. Flexibility is required as working hours may be adjusted to support operational needs.
Location
It is close to Chatham train station (10–15 min walk), nearest bus stop is 3 houses away and there is also free parking available.
About You
* Resilient, calm, and emotionally intelligent.
* Experienced in mental health support (preferred but not essential).
* Confident working with individuals who have had contact with the criminal justice system.
* Able to manage challenging behaviour professionally.
* A strong communicator with good written skills.
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting equality.
