Work strategically as part of the Global SUT Harmonization program to increase capacity in Cramlington linked to the STRAP & AOP plans.
Represent manufacturing on the Cramlington Site Leadership Team
Establish business targets and lead the Operations to ensure the site exceeds operational goals for productively growth, safety, costs and delivery.
Report business results and action plans to senior leadership across the network
Proactively collaborate with direct reports, internal customers, and peers to drive continuous improvements initiatives, using Lean and Six Sigma principals.
Effectively utilise resources to maximise operational efficiency.
Establish and sustain a strong culture of accountability and data driven decision making processes.
Lead the development of the Operations Team in Cramlington.
Lead and promote process improvement initiative to drive strong performance in safety, product quality, finance, and process efficiency.
Promote a working environment that encourages positive employee involvement and engagement.
Review and lead capacity regularly and strategically to ensure supply chain integrity and provide optimal business growth opportunity for growth.
Proactively collaborate with team members and other functions to exchange information relevant to area of responsibility to ensure adequate support towards meeting business objectives.
Coach, mentor and develop staff to elevate overall performance and achieve business goals and objectives.
Define and implement manufacturing processes which result in products meeting all regulatory and quality requirements prior to shipment.
Promote positive and proactive work environment to sustain strong employee engagement levels.
Act as an advisor to your team to meet schedules and /or resolve problems.
Lead the execution of special projects as assigned by Operations management.
Travel as needed to other sites, customers, and external development partners.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering field.
Strong leadership abilities with capabilities to leverage diverse resources, respond quickly, understand impact of changes and decisions, facilitate agreement, build collaborative relationships, and understand customer’s needs.
Ability to rapidly identify, adapt and respond to change in environment and priorities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with individuals at all levels and functions of the organisation.
Practical application experience of PPI and Lean Manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to implement a strategic plan.
Demonstrated ability to lead people, work effectively with cross functional teams, and to facilitate collaboration across functional boundaries and regional site locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA.
Experience in Medical device or Pharmaceutical industry or similar.
Experience in leading in a cGMP or ISO13485 manufacturing environment.
Experience in Managerial position.
