The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring minimal downtime across the site. Duties include:
1. Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
2. Reactive breakdown response and fault finding
3. Mechanical repairs including bearings, hydraulics and pneumatics
4. Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, breakers and inverters
5. Working on conveyors, processing equipment and automated packaging machinery
6. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
The role involves a mix of mechanical and electrical work within a busy industrial production environment.
Training & Development
The company supports engineers with training where required, including:
7. PLC training
8. Fabrication and welding courses
9. Electrical and mechanical upskilling
10. Further engineering qualifications
Package
11. £45,500 basic salary
12. Overtime paid at 1.75x on weekends (OTE £55K)
13. 4.5% matched pension
14. Medical insurance
15. 26 days holiday + bank holidays
16. Option to buy or sell additional holidays
