We are seeking a HR Assistant to join our HR team based in Luton or Gateshead.

Responsibilities:
* Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures effectively and promptly.
* Support HR projects such as security screening/vetting and other initiatives as they arise.
* Handle maternity, paternity, adoption, and parental leave processes and queries.
* Assist with investigations related to disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures alongside the HR Advisor.
Qualifications:
* Excellent presentation skills for correspondence, letters, presentations, and data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management, including Excel.
* Assertive with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Ability to build professional, friendly, and accessible relationships with employees and managers.
