A fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Project Manager looking for a role that offers career progression and support towards achieving Prince 2 qualification.
The ideal candidate will have some previous experience managing projects, preferably as a Project Manager, within the engineering or utility industry sectors. You should be highly motivated, ambitious, with a high level of emotional intelligence and strong communication skills. You will have access to extensive technical expertise and receive support to grow within the business. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, guiding them through the project lifecycle.
This role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel required; therefore, owning transport is essential.
Responsibilities
* Managing projects and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers.
* Handling data flow, exception management, and reporting.
* Managing data and billing queries and resolving issues.
* Direct liaison with clients, providing expert advice to help them understand options and make informed decisions.
* Updating systems to log project activities for reporting purposes.
* Developing and implementing contract improvements.
* Participating in client meetings as required.
* Providing accurate and timely project information for invoicing.
* Generating proposals.
* Keeping the client database updated.
Requirements
* Experience in managing projects, ideally as a Project Manager.
* Experience in the engineering or utilities industry.
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and CRM systems.
* Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
* Ability to develop strong, long-term working relationships.
* Prince 2 qualification or willingness to obtain it.
Location: Near Pershore, Worcestershire.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
