Account Manager - Join a Global, People-First Business!

📍 Location: Gateshead - Free Parking Available
💰 Salary: Up to £27,000 + Attractive Quarterly Bonus
🕒 Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (10 Months)

Are you a people-focused account manager or internal sales professional who loves building long-term relationships and providing outstanding customer care? We're recruiting for an Account Manager to join a well-established global business in Team Valley, Gateshead.

This role combines account management with warm sales follow-up - no cold sales approach here! You'll engage with existing and prospective clients, identifying opportunities, nurturing accounts, and delivering exceptional service. It's perfect for someone who thrives in a relationship-led, customer-centric environment.

Our client is seeking a proactive, dynamic professional on a 10-month fixed-term basis, with the potential for extension or permanent placement depending on business needs. Ideally, you'll be immediately available or have a short notice period.

🔍 Role Overview:

Fixed-term contract, directly employed by the company
Salary: Up to £27,000 + Bonus
36-hour workweek with flexible hours:
▪ Monday to Thursday: 8:20 AM - 4:30 PM
▪ Friday: 8:20 AM - 1:30 PM (early finish!)
Free Parking
Location: Team Valley, Gateshead

Build strong client relationships and manage warm outbound/inbound calls
Follow up on warm leads and identify opportunities to grow accounts
Recommend suitable products and services to meet client needs
Support Business Development Managers and collaborate with internal teams
Maintain accurate CRM records and handle quote and pricing requests
Produce regular sales reports and apply pricing strategies
Deliver first-line technical support (with team support)
Always provide an outstanding customer experience👤 We're Looking For:

Background in account management, sales, or customer relationship roles
Confident communicator with influencing and negotiation skills
Tech-savvy, with CRM and Microsoft Office experience
Highly organised and detail-oriented
