Sous Chef - School Catering (Ascot)
Salary: £32,500 per annum | Hours: 40 per week | Term Time: 42.5 weeks per year

Are you an experienced chef looking for a rewarding role in a school environment? We're seeking a Sous Chef to join our catering team in Ascot, delivering high-quality meals for students and staff.
About the Role
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (occasional evenings and weekends for events).
Contract: Term time only (42.5 weeks per year).
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and serving nutritious, balanced meals.
Supervise kitchen operations and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Support menu planning and stock control.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in school or contract catering.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
A positive attitude and team spirit.
