We are partnering with secondary schools in Wellingborough seeking Graduate Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. This role is ideal for degree holders looking to gain practical experience in schools prior to pursuing formal teacher training or those wishing to work in education while developing their skills.
About the Role
As a Graduate Teacher, you will work closely alongside experienced teachers and school staff to support the delivery of high-quality education. You will have the opportunity to assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, work with individuals and groups of students, and develop your classroom management and teaching skills in a supportive environment.
You'll be involved in:
Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation to support curriculum delivery
Delivering small group or whole class teaching under supervision, helping pupils engage and succeed
Supporting assessment and monitoring of pupil progress
Contributing to positive behaviour management strategies and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment
Participating in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
What We're Looking For:
A degree graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) in Education, English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or a related subject
A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching or education
Enthusiasm for working with children and young people, showing patience, empathy, and professionalism
Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take constructive feedback to improve practice
Organised, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
