This Commercial Finance Manager role offers a blend of commercial analysis and traditional finance activity. Ensure financial processes and controls are maintained and improved, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Manage balance sheet reconciliations and key control accounts, identifying risks and opportunities. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions, offering insights that drive improvements. Provide financial support to the MD, including detailed analysis of business performance and profitability. Manage the annual audit process, liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Collaborate with senior management to solve complex financial issues, using your problem-solving skills to drive process enhancements. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify areas of risk and opportunity within financial data, helping the business stay ahead of potential challenges. What Were Looking For: Strong technical expertise in finance, with experience in fast paced month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. Proven ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and meet month-end reporting requirements with accuracy and efficiency. Experience in financial controls and process improvements, with a keen eye for identifying areas of inefficiency. Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a passion for finding solutions to complex financial challenges. Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth ad hoc financial analysis as needed. A strong track record of working with financial systems and advanced Excel skills are essential.
