We are looking for talented individuals to add to our friendly team. In particular we are currently looking for
Audit and Accounts Semi Senior's/Senior
to join our team based in Kettering.
Candidates will have excellent problem solving, organisational and analytical skills, strong computer literacy, the ability to listen well and previous audit and/or accounts experience.
Ideally the candidate will be
qualified by experience or
AAT qualified, ACA or ACCA part-qualified. Previous experience working within a practice is essential.
Candidates will also need to live within easy commuting distance of our office in Kettering and hold a valid UK driving licence as occasional travel to client's premises will be required
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday 9am to 5.pm (35 hours per week). 1 hour lunch.
* Full Time, Permanent - Part time may be considered.
* Based at our office in Kettering

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of Limited Company statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
* Preparation of VAT returns and book keeping
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Assist in the planning, testing and completion of Audit assignments
* Preparation of larger sole-trader and partnership accounts
* Preparing Business Tax and Capital Allowance computations
* Dealing with general client queries
* Preparation of self-assessments
Skills:
* AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience.
* Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential ideally a minimum of 4 years.
* Knowledge of Sage/Xero and Quickbooks and IRIS will be an advantage
* Team player with friendly, approachable and positive professional outlook.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to tight deadline
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to adapt to new advancement in technology
* Would need to live within easy commuting distance of our office in Kettering
* Hold a valid UK driving licence as occasional travel to client's premises will be required.
