Catering Assistant

The post holder will assist in the preparation, distribution and service for all aspects of food production to patients, staff and visitors in the Kitchen, functions and hospitality throughout the site and any associated duties, ensuring the correct and economical use of materials and equipment, ensuring all HACCP and relevant documentation is recorded correctly.
The post holder will be able to work without supervision at the stated place of work, but may be asked to work at any of the Trust's Catering areas.
Main duties of the job
* The cleaning of premises and equipment to correct standards of cleanliness and frequencies laid down in the cleaning schedules and departmental hygiene policies.
* Operating and cleaning of automatic dishwashers.
* The issuing of certain food items to the wards areas.
