About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy, professional workshop team. You will carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to work in a garage known for exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
* Diagnose vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Carry out repairs on brakes, suspension, exhausts, clutches, gearboxes, and electrical systems
* Complete accurate job cards and workshop documentation
* Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
* Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and customer expectations
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment
About You
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic
* Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
* Reliable, motivated, and detail-focused
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models
* Full UK driving licence
* Own tools preferred
