Job Title: Internal Comms Change Consultant
Contract Type: Twelve Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary Range: £48,000 - £72,000
Location: Eastleigh Hybrid

Internal Comms Change Consultant: We have an exciting opportunity foran Internal Comms Change Consultant to join the Team on a twelve-month Fixed term Contract. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of a strong internal communications strategy with associated activities that supports the company’s vision and values, by building a culture of community, inclusion, trust and engagement.

Working closely with the IC Specialist – content and channels, this role is to ensure the effective communication of key strategic messages through the development and delivery of agreed plans, budgets and timings.

Main Responsibilities as Internal Comms Change Consultant:

1. Develop and execute internal change comms plans to support integration, enhance colleague experience, and sustain engagement.
2. Deliver communications aligned to business calendars, including events, toolkits, presentations, and leadership messaging.
3. Monitor message effectiveness and channels, using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
4. Build comms capability by coaching leaders and stakeholders on key channels and techniques.
5. Advocate for strong internal communications to boost productivity, retain talent, and activate strategy.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders, including HR BPs, to ensure comms remain aligned with evolving plans.

Skills and experience you need as Internal Comms Change Consultant:

7. Proven ability to produce and manage diverse written and visual media, with strong writing, presentation, and proofreading skills.
8. Skilled in designing and delivering impactful colleague events and employee communications, including change and M&A comms in regulated environments.
9. Quick to adapt in contractor/interim roles, delivering high-quality communications in complex, fast-paced settings.
10. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
11. Effective communicator of sensitive issues, with excellent verbal, written, listening, and questioning skills.
12. Experienced in planning and executing comms strategies, managing multiple projects, and identifying opportunities for integrated internal and external messaging
