Working for our Stoke DSM Silo Maintenance team.
Main Responsibilities
As a Lugger Truck Driver, you will:
* Ensure all work is carried out and documented in line with company Health and Safety policies.
* Inspect the Lugger Truck for defects, record any defects until rectified, and report them to the line manager as soon as practicable.
* Maintain Tachograph records in accordance with current EU/WTD Regulations.
* Keep the supplied van in high housekeeping standards inside and outside, and ensure all speed limits and behaviors are in line with company policies and procedures.
* Assist online and mobile plant to maintain production at required target levels.
* Maintain Van Stock Levels.
* Store Silos safely and perform stock reconciliation of Silos.
* Contribute towards a zero incident H&S site.
The Ideal Candidate
* Operate Lugger Truck according to specialised training and company risk assessments.
* Achieve performance targets set.
* Reduce maintenance costs by maximising efficiency.
* Improve site production.
* Have reasonable PC literacy to compose emails.
* Complete online and classroom training in accordance with current road transport legislation and company policies.
