Gen2 Construction is a growing construction contractor delivering steel-framed buildings, civil engineering works, and renewable infrastructure projects. The business is expanding rapidly and is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects from mobilisation through to handover.
Role Overview -
We are looking for a highly capable Project Manager with a proven track record delivering steel construction buildings. The successful candidate will take ownership of project delivery on site, coordinate subcontractors, and act as the key interface between site operations and the head office.
This is a hands-on role requiring regular travel and a strong site presence.
Key Responsibilities -
Project Delivery
* Lead and manage steel-framed construction projects from pre-start through completion.
* Oversee programme, quality, safety, and commercial performance.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
* Manage project risk, sequencing, and logistics.
Site Management
* Work primarily from site locations as required.
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors and specialist trades.
* Monitor progress against programme and resolve delivery issues proactively.
* Ensure compliance with H&S and statutory regulations.
Communication & Coordination
* Liaise closely with the Gen2 office team regarding:
* Programme updates
* Commercial performance
* Procurement and logistics
* Reporting and forecasting
* Attend client and stakeholder meetings.
Commercial & Operational Oversight
* Monitor subcontractor performance and payment milestones.
* Assist with cost control and change management.
* Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
Desirable (Advantageous) Experience -
Experience in renewable or energy-related projects would be highly beneficial, including:
* PV (solar) installation projects
* Large-scale civil engineering works
* Electrical infrastructure installation
* EPC-style project delivery
Candidates who can oversee combined civil + electrical packages will be viewed favourably.

Salary & Package -
£60,000 – £80,000 per annum + package
