Learning Support Specialist – Primary, Hastings

What will you be doing?
As a Learning Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping children access learning and reach their full potential. Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
* Delivering targeted interventions to boost confidence and attainment
* Assisting children with their emotional regulation, social development and independence
* Supporting learning across KS1 and KS2 where required
* Working closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
* Building positive relationships that help children feel safe, valued and ready to learn
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or educational setting
* Is passionate about helping every child succeed
* Brings enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach
* Has plenty of creativity and energy to engage young learners
* Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
