Job Description
3. Primary contact for H&S clients in relation to day-to-day H&S consulting provision
4. Carry out site audits, inspections, risk assessments and fire risk assessments
5. Support the growth of the business by contributing to business development activities and identifying opportunities
6. Support the business through involvement in internal operations e.g., process improvement, office management etc
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
7. Level 3 / NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
8. Level 3 / NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate
9. Working towards or have achieved Level 6 / National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
10. 5+ years' experience in similar role
11. Driving license
The skills required:
12. Chartered, or working towards Chartered status
13. Understanding and knowledge of UK Health and Safety Regulation and experience in practical implantation
14. Demonstratable experience reviewing and creating Health and Safety policies and procedures
15. Experience in similar H&S Advisory/Consultant roles with exposure to a broad spectrum of health and safety management systems
16. Confident in presenting information in person and via video/audio conferencing
17. Confident in liaising with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
18. Comfortable delivering training sessions
19. Exposure to a variety of safety and health risks
20. Procedure, accident investigation and report writing experience
21. Operating under an established Health & Safety Management System
22. Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and CRM systems
