Job Title: Barista Location: Bradford Job Type: Full-time - 45 hours Overview We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused Barista to join our busy coffee shop in Bradford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great coffee, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and deliver exceptional service with a friendly, professional manner. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty items. Handle customer orders efficiently at the till and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Ensure consistent drink quality through accurate grinding, tamping, extraction, and milk texturing. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the coffee bar, seating areas, and equipment in line with health & safety standards. Restock products, manage inventory levels, and rotate stock following FIFO procedures. Work collaboratively with the team to manage busy rush periods smoothly and maintain excellent customer flow. Provide product knowledge, recommend items, and handle customer queries professionally. Follow all store procedures including cash handling, allergen awareness, and waste reduction practices. Skills & Experience Previous barista or hospitality experience preferred, but full training can be provided. Strong customer service skills with a positive, approachable attitude. Ability to work under pressure during high-volume periods. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and passion for quality.
