🎯 Main Responsibilities
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning, maintenance, and
customer support on the company’s water treatment installations across the UK and
internationally.
Your main duties will include:
• Install, commission, and troubleshoot equipment (UV, ozone, water treatment
systems).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Prepare detailed service reports and complete visit checklists.
• Train customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Assemble and test equipment at the factory when required.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams on technical issues.
• Prepare, inspect, and pack goods for shipment when necessary.
• Deliver or collect materials using the company vehicle.
• Advise on stock levels and spare parts needs.
• Provide technical assistance to the sales and after-sales departments.
👨🔧 Profile Required
• Minimum qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Ability to work safely, including during lone working.
• Strong skills in reading electrical diagrams, PLCs, and mechanical systems.
• Good understanding of inverters and control systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and general IT tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
• Professional and confident when facing customers.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport required.
Desirable skills:
• Experience with UV, ozone, or industrial water treatment systems.
• Knowledge of steam plant or boiler systems.
• Experience in workload planning and coordination.
• Understanding of technical upselling techniques.

• Salary: +£40,000 per year
