This school is a thriving and inclusive school in Eastbourne, dedicated to providing exceptional education for its students. They are seeking a highly organised and efficient School Administrator to join their team.Job Summary
As a School Administrator, you will provide support to our senior leadership team, teachers, and students. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, handling a wide range of administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service to the schoolmunity.Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, including preparing documents, reports, and presentations.
2. Manage the school’s reception area, handling phone calls, emails, and visitors.
3. Coordinate school events, meetings, and appointments.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student data, attendance, and staff records.
5. Provide administrative support for student admissions, including processing applications andmunicating with parents.
6. Manage the school’smunication systems, including emails, newsletters and social media.
7. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effectivemunication and organisation.
8. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Requirements
9. Previous experience in an administrative role within an educational setting.
10. Excellentmunication, organisation and time management skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
13. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
14. Friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent customer service skills.
15. Experience using school systems such as SIMS
