About the Role
Support work is a highly rewarding role where you assist individuals, often with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or physical challenges, to live as independently and confidently as possible. As a Support Worker, you'll provide practical help with daily tasks, offer emotional encouragement, and promote social inclusion, enabling people to lead fulfilling lives at home and in the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
* Promoting independence and helping service users develop life skills
* Providing emotional support and building positive relationships
* Assisting with medication management (where required and trained)
* Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments, or participate in social activities
* Encouraging and enabling service users to achieve personal goals
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the care team
* Ensuring a safe, respectful, and person‑centred environment at all times
Key Requirements
* Driver
* Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Up‑to‑date CV with full work history
