Plant Maintenance Engineer
Full time, Permanent position
Salary: up to £41,000 per annum with OT & Bonus structure
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, 07:00 to 14:00 on a Friday
Our welcoming client is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer with some electrical experience for this position.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a main technician responsible for effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. You will work with our client's in-house engineering team, reporting to the senior engineer and being a key part of the wider plant team.
Candidate requirements:
* Some experience in mechanical engineering, with a stronger bias towards electrical & maintenance engineering.
* Completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar level 3 qualification.
Responsibilities include:
* Attend to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building problems.
* Carry out safety tests as required.
* Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment, and facilities.
* Undertake planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
* Follow procedures laid out in BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / 14001, Local Working Instructions, and Company Operations Manual.
* Support building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks.
* Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Work pattern: Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month for PPM tasks.
The main work hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, and 07:00 to 14:00 on a Friday.
