SEN Teaching Assistant – Graduate Role | North London SEN School

Salary: £95–£110 per day | Term-time only | Full academic year
Location: North London (N12)

This full-time, long-term role is ideally suited to a recent psychology graduate who is looking to gain invaluable classroom-based experience with children and young people who have a range of special educational needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Supporting students with a variety of additional needs

* Working 1:1 and in small groups under the guidance of SEN specialists

* Assisting with personal care and sensory regulation where needed

* Supporting emotional development and classroom engagement

* Collaborating with therapists and SENCOs to deliver holistic support

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant For this North London School:

* A recent psychology graduate (2:1 or higher)

* Interest in SEN, child development, or educational/clinical psychology

* Empathetic, patient, and calm under pressure

* Reliable, proactive, and able to commit full-time until July 2026

* Previous experience with children or vulnerable groups is a bonus
