Job Overview
At the Willow Tree, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our exciting, up and coming cafe bistro. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a blend of leadership, culinary experience, and team management skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests.
Our opening days are Wednesdays-Sundays 9am-5pm. We also open outside of these hours for private functions & events.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage front of house staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards.
* Train and mentor team members in hospitality best practices, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service operations effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised front of house area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
* Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies and coordinate with suppliers as necessary.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques is beneficial.
* Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership capabilities.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is required.
* Experience in serving customers with a focus on delivering an outstanding dining experience.
