A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in London is seeking a skilled MEP Revit Technician to join its dynamic Building Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for BIM and engineering design to take the next step in their career.
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Revit MEP experience
Role Overview:
The MEP Revit Technician will play a key role in the development and coordination of detailed 3D models for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems within a range of high-profile building projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and fellow BIM technicians to ensure models meet design and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce and develop detailed 3D MEP models using Revit MEP
Assist in the preparation of coordinated BIM models across disciplines
Maintain and update BIM models throughout the design and construction phases
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure accurate representation of services
Create 2D drawings and schedules derived from 3D models
Follow company BIM protocols and support BIM Level 2 compliance
Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural elements
Contribute to clash detection processes and resolution
Participate in project coordination meetings as required
Assist with training and mentoring junior team members if needed
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of hands-on Revit MEP experience in a consultancy or contractor environment
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency with AutoCAD (preferred but not essential)
Knowledge of BIM Level 2 standards
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
