We are pleased to offer a new opportunity to work as a Regulatory Compliance Officer while training to become a qualified Environmental Health Officer. Based in the Private Sector Housing team the role includes the investigation of housing disrepair and tenancy related issues, conducting house condition assessments and taking appropriate action to ensure tenants’ rights are protected and properties meet expected living standards. While working as a Regulatory Compliance Officer the successful candidate will work to become a qualified Environmental Health Officer and will gain practical experience in a broad range of public protection functions. This will involve part-time study over four years to gain the Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health at Leeds Beckett University, starting in September 2025 or September 2026 (subject to university intake dates).
