An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Teacher at The Royal School of Dunkeld. We are looking for a highly effective class teacher and senior leader to join our friendly and dynamic Primary School.

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic practitioner to join our team as Principal Teacher.

You will hold a diploma/degree in Primary Education and have full GTC Scotland registration.

The successful candidate will:

Be a skilled and effective classroom practitioner with a detailed knowledge of the principles of the Curriculum for Excellence

Have an excellent track record in primary teaching and be able to demonstrate an ability to teach across across the Primary phase.

Be highly motivated and able to contribute to school self-evaluation, planning and development.

Have evidence of a strong commitment to raising standards and promoting effective learning and teaching.

Demonstrate an ability to motivate colleagues, work as part of a team and build relationships across the school community.

Have effective communication skills and a solution orientated approach to all aspects of school.
