My client is a well-established, family-owned business, supporting manufacturers across electronics, polymers, and other sectors. With over 20 years experience and a dedicated team of 25 in the UK, they combine technical expertise with responsive service to deliver. Salary & Benefits £40,000£50,000 basic salary (depending on experience) Uncapped commission potential (up to an additional £60,000) Company mobile phone and laptop Contributory pension scheme 23 days annual leave (increasing by one day per year up to 30 days) Continuous professional development and sales training Working Hours & Conditions Full-time, permanent position Core hours: MondayFriday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Hybrid flexibility for administrative tasks Primarily telephone-based sales (approximately 90%), with customer site visits, trade shows, and occasional international travel Must-Haves & Key Skills Minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline At least two years technical sales experience with demonstrable results Excellent written and verbal communication in English Strong numeracy skills (GCSE Maths Grade C/4 or above) Proficiency in MS Word and Excel Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel domestically and internationally Based within a commutable distance of SL8 (or prepared to relocate) Role Overview As Business Development Executive, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage and grow accounts within existing customer portfolios, and support strategic sales initiatives. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will collaborate with a team of five sales professionals to meet and exceed revenue targets, representing my client at industry events and trade exhibitions.
