As a result of continued growth, Sword are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Director to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and nurturing relationships with a select group of strategic customers, driving revenue generation and ensuring long-term success.
As a Sword Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a smaller number of high-value strategic accounts. Your primary focus will be on developing deep, value-based relationships with these customers, identifying new revenue opportunities, and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Account Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with a select group of strategic customers, adopting a proactive approach to account development and identifying new revenue opportunities
* Revenue Generation: Develop and execute account plans to drive revenue growth from existing strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with the company's overall sales strategy
* Customer Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, up to and including C-level executives, to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Technical Pre-Sales Solutions Architects and Sales Administration, to deliver exceptional sales experiences and solutions to customers
* Vendor Partnerships: Liaise with strategic vendor partners to support lead generation and co-sale opportunities, leveraging their expertise and resources
* Sales Forecasting: Own and manage your account relationships, maintaining accurate sales forecasts and ensuring timely reporting of account activities and progress.

* Proven Sales Success: A track record of success in sales, ideally within the technology services and solutions sector
* Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer stakeholder relationships, particularly with C-level executives
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive account plans that align with customer needs and company goals
* Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively, ensuring timely and efficient account management
