Job Title: Management AccountantLocation: Remote with travel to Inverness once a quarter – must be based in ScotlandSalary: Up to £45,000 DOEAre you a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant seeking your next challenge? An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality management accounting services across a broad client base, including both hospitality and non-hospitality sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesThis is a varied role with scope for growth. Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Timely preparation of management accounts and related reports in line with agreed deadlines
* Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies, managing client expectations throughout
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members to achieve departmental objectives
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
* Providing guidance on technical accounting issues to ensure clarity and accuracy
* Creating and updating detailed process documentation for each client and ensuring team compliance
* Staying informed on developments in management accounting to maintain high service standards
* Collaborating closely with senior accounting staff to stay aligned on client needs and challenges
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and driving efficiency
* Maintaining consistently high work standards and attention to detail
* Supporting other areas of the business as required, including technical and administrative tasks
* Completing ad hoc duties as requested by senior management

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence in working with colleagues and clients at all levels
